Size chart

Sizes vary between brands and between models. Below you'll find the EU, UK, US and Japan equivalents, plus how our main models actually fit.

Size conversion chart: EU, UK, US and Japan

All sizes on our product pages are shown in EU. If you know your size in another system, use the chart above to convert it before ordering.

How to measure your foot

The most reliable method takes two minutes and works for any brand.

  1. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
  2. Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe — which is not always the big toe.
  3. Measure the distance from the wall to the mark in centimetres.
  4. Add 0.5 cm for comfort, and compare the result with the chart.

Measure late in the day, when your feet are at their largest, and measure both feet. If they differ, go with the larger one.

How our models fit

These notes come from the returns and exchanges we actually process, not from the manufacturer's claims.

New Balance 9060, 2002R, 1906A

Narrow through the forefoot. If you have wide feet, go half a size up.

Adidas Samba, Gazelle, Campus

Narrow and low-profile, based on indoor football lasts. Most people take half a size up from their usual sneaker size.

Nike Air Force 1, Dunk, Air Max

True to size for most feet. The Dunk runs slightly snug across the instep.

Air Jordan 1

True to size, but the ankle collar is tight on the first few wears.

Birkenstock

Uses its own sizing. Your toes should sit about 0.5 cm from the front edge of the footbed, and your heel should sit inside the heel cup without overhanging.

Ugg

Runs generous. The sheepskin lining compresses with wear, so most people take their usual size or half a size down.

Asics Gel

True to size, with a roomier toe box than most running models.
