The ASICS Gel-NYC Cream Mineral Beige Pink is a technical running shoe that finds inspiration in heritage and contemporary ASICS models, including the Gel-Nimbus 3 from the 2000s and the Gel-MC Plus V.
The upper construction of the Cream Mineral Beige Pink ASICS Gel-NYC features breathable mesh with a medium-sized weave in cream and a grid of suede and leather overlays in Mineral Beige and metallic silver across the side panels. Although the upper takes elements from the Gel-Nimbus 3, the midsole combines advanced underfoot technology from the Gel-Cumulus 16. The use of gel inserts in the rear and forefoot as well as a combination of foams creates a responsive feel and protects against impact stress.
